Dream Your Best Life into Being: Yoga Nidra at Sattva Wisdom Center

Join Heather Berg, E-RYT, an experienced yoga and meditation teacher, as she leads us through a beautiful Yoga Nidra practice. Also known as “Enlightened Sleep” or “Awareness of Waking, Dreaming, Sleeping,” Yoga Nidra is the highest form of self-care.
This modality is more in line with the last pose in a Yoga practice, Shavasana, which brings deep relaxation, counteracts stress and fatigue, heals the nervous system and allows for a process of letting go to remember the unchanging part of you. All the while, it is as if the body and mind are in deep sleep, yet you remain aware of your surroundings.
What Will I Learn?
Heather will guide us through a practice that brings immersion into the subconscious realms, where one can explore infinite possibility and freedom. We will explore how to use this practice to connect with our intuition, change patterns or habits that no longer serve us and plant seeds in our minds to allow our dreams to reach fruition. We will enjoy a guided meditation in which we will experience the benefits of Yoga Nidra directly. No (physical) Yoga or meditation experience required.
Space is limited and pre-registration required. Cushions and blankets will be provided, but bring a yoga mat, a small pillow to cushion your head and a small cloth to cover your eyes. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
