Yoga Nidra at Michael’s Body Scenes

Please join me for a Yoga Nidra practice. Also known as Enlightened Sleep or Awareness of Waking, Dreaming, Sleeping, Yoga Nidra is the highest form of self-care.
This modality is different than meditation and more in line with Shavasana: deep relaxation, healing for the nervous system and a process of letting go to remember the unchanging part of you. All the while, the body and mind are at deep sleep yet simultaneously being aware of the surroundings.
This exploration will start with gentle movement and breath-work culminating with a guided Yoga Nidra practice. No (physical) Yoga or meditation experience required.
• yoga mat
• small pillow for under your head
• blanket to cover yourself
• small cloth to cover eyes
• bolsters/props to support yourself in a comfortable Shavasana/corpse pose.
